The Site

Welcome to our site, Jackie and I are in our twelfth year of full-time RV living.  This site is a journal for our travels.  For each campground that we visit, I write a paragraph or two about our experience, add a few photos, and include the campground's description.  I've organized the website by US regions, and states, alphabetically by campground name, by campground memberships, and by the order in which we visited each campground.  For now, our travels have slowed down while we set ourselves up for the future.  We're working for Thousand Trails eight months of the year at the Palm Springs Resort with plans on traveling the other four months.  In May of 2021, we purchased a lot in Southern California and we repainted the coach, so with added expenses, we are probably not traveling as much as we would like.  However, the website will continue to grow and become a more useful tool for friends and family in their travels.

Feel free to add comments about your experiences. (unfortunately, I had to remove the auto-post feature from the site due to nefarious people taking advantage of the ability to put unrelated links all over the site without restrictions.  Feel free to send photos to me at This email address is being protected from spambots.       This website is always changing as I add content often.  The site may not always be up to date or some pages may be partially complete, but after all, I am retired from my career as an electrician, and the website is not designed to make money in any way.  I am having fun sharing and hope that the site helps others in their travels.

Where We Are Now

ORI 86 Our Home    Summer is over and we are back home at the Outdoor Resorts Indio.  Living here without the distraction of working at Thousand Trails Palm Springs, Jackie and I were able to get involved in our resort and made dozens of new friends during the winter Season.  We're looking forward to wintering here for many years to come.

Washington stream cr    Our plan, (not set in stone) is to head north in June and spend the summer camping in Nevada, California, Oregon, and Washington.  Augie needs to experience mountain streams, lakes, and forest trails which are just not available here in the Coachella Valley.  As summer is getting closer, our travel plans have been made.  Our first stop is going to be Cherry Valley RV Resort in Beaumont, California so we can service our tires at Les Schwab after sitting for a year and a half. From there, we'll head to Vegas and head north via Nevada rather than California.
