Twenty-seventeen
The first four months of 2017 we were either still working or getting things ready to hit the road. We did a winter trip to Lincoln City for my birthday and booked the family at a nearby Worldmark resort. Driving over the coast range in the snow was something we decided not to make a habit of. The park was great, though a little cold. We did enjoy spending the weekend in Lincoln City with family. Feb 28th was my last day of work so Ainsworth State Park became our first campground after being retired. There was still a little snow on the ground, but being early spring there was a lot more water going over Multnomah and Horsetail Falls. And finally, we made one last beach trip before finally heading out.
