Whiskey Flats RV Park, Hawthorne, Nevada

       This is the third campground that we've camped at between Reno and Las Vegas. I think this is the best so far.  Tonopah Station was closer to Vegas, but we couldn't book it in advance and Sunrise Valley is in a town with nothing to do or eat.  Whiskey Flats is a great park.  It was very well kept and it shows that the owners take pride in their park. 

      We did run into town to buy some RV parts at Ace Hardware and to have dinner at one of the local casinos.

Amenities

         Our RV Community has all you need for your great Western adventure! We have propane services, RV Dump Station, Great Showers, a Convenience Store, and Full hookups in a beautiful park environment. Our close neighbor is a Dotty's Casino and Bourbon Street Sports/New Orleans style bar and adult fun area with food and beverages. Also up the road within walking distance is Safeway, fuel service, and Pepper's Place 50's Style drive-up burger joint.
