Creekside Campground

On our way to Creekside, we took a three-mile detour to Ontario, Oregon to replace our front left tire after having our front right blow out along the highway in the middle of nowhere in Nevada.  Our purpose for booking this campground was that it was near our niece's wedding site.  However, we found that the campground was nice enough that we're going to keep it on a short list of campgrounds to return to.  We had booked months in advance so I was able to pick the site that would work best for us.  When we arrived at the park, there was a list of who was camping at which site.  So we found our site and hooked up.  We really enjoyed the park's quiet setting.  There was almost no noise.  It featured several large grass areas for tenting and picnicking complete with a pond and of course a creek. (hence the name)  The park was graveled but judging by the number of 5mph speed limit signs they were serious about keeping cars slow and the dust down.  There were a few full-time residents, but overall the park had a camping feel to it rather than an RV Park feel.

(from their website)

Creekside RV Park and Campground is located approximately 3 miles East of New Meadows and 8 miles West of McCall. The park has 27 full hookups and 10 electric/water hookups with ample open areas for you to roam. The campground is a perfect home base for your summertime adventures.
