Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada

       Our good friend Andrew owns a lot here in the resort and offered it to us to use while we are visiting Las Vegas.  I can't say enough good things about the park.  It is the very definition of a motorcoach resort.  There is a large pool and four smaller satellite pools.  All of the facilities are very well taken care of.  Most every aspect of the resort is well maintained.  We, unfortunately, landed here on some of the hottest days of the year so we really haven't had a chance to get out and enjoy the park.  I'm sure if we owned a lot here we would take more advantage of the amenities.  

      While we are here we've taken advantage of our favorite Hawian restaurant and our favorite buffet.  We also enjoyed lunch with my sister's best friend from grade school.  It's too bad that our friends Jim and Fen (who own a lot here as well) are still up in Michigan.  We also had our coach washed and waxed after a summer of travel in the Northwest.

       While here I continued with my morning walks.  I figured out a path that would take me two and a half miles to walk from here to the front doors of the Silverton Casino.  Then I would retrace my steps back.  Most of my walks start before five in the morning so I have the opportunity to step over sleeping homeless people sleeping on the concrete sidewalk in front of a Target store and other places.  More often than not they are gone on my return trip.
