Chehalis RV  & Camping Resort, Chehalis, Washington

This was our second visit to Chehalis.  Coming here was sort of a last-minute decision.  We had planned on returning to Paradise Cove, but it didn't really meet our expectations, plus we were getting tired of the "beach weather" and needed a bit more sun. The park still lacks phone and internet service in the lower half of the campground, not to mention that most sites lack septic or 50 amps.  However, it is more of a weekender park than a full-timer park and weekenders don't really need all the amenities that full-timers want.  Overall the park is beautiful with lots of deer and bunnies.  We're glad we made a choice to leave the beach and camp here for eleven days.
My daughter Kimberly and her family live an hour or so to the north and it gave us an opportunity to visit a couple of times.  On our first visit, we joined them at the Museum of Flight near Seatac.  I highly recommend the museum, I could spend weeks in their WWI & WWII sections just reading history.  On the second visit, Kimberly and her husband Josh joined us for a barbecue at the campground.  Kimberly was adopted at birth and I missed the first 39 years of her life.  So we spent hours just talking and it was so interesting and wonderful discovering how much she was like me.
