Outdoor Resort Indio

     This resort isn't our typical camping resort, it is our new "home"!  Jackie & I decided it was time that we had a place to land if we ever decided it was time to slow down (ie stop working at parks or traveling full-time)  We purchased 'Lot 8' and plan on camping on it from time to time but aren't committed to living here full time.  From September to May, we plan on working and living in Thousand Trails Palm Springs while renting this site.  (Contact ORI to rent our lot '86' https://www.orindio.com/)  With any luck, our renting will cover the cost of us owning the lot until we decide to live here.

        The resort is strictly a 'Motorcoach' resort and requires all owners and guests to have a ten-year or newer coach (or board-approved coach).  This is why we repainted ours.  Lots are available to rent or purchase through the on-site office.  From our experience there, everyone is very nice and the park is well maintained.  It offers an 18-hole par 3 golf course, pickleball & tennis courts, a 25-yard lap pool with three smaller satellite pools, a weight room, spa, library, dining area, and lodge.  Also, during the season (October - April) there is a small restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch.
