Outdoor Resort Indio, Indio, California

        After a summer of traveling, we are finally in our lot for the season.  This year we are staying here and commuting to Palm Springs RV Resort instead of living where we're working.  We are finally going to sit back and enjoy the resort and everything it has to offer for eight or nine months and then we're off for another summer trip.  Perhaps this year we'll make it to Yellowstone and the Black Hills.

        The only negative that I can see in this plan, is not living next door to Bonni & Dave.  We know that we'll meet new people here, but it's not the quantity of friends you have but rather the quality of friends.  Fortunately, since we retired from our careers and hit the road, we've had both.  We have met so many quality friends and there is no upper limit on that.  

        As it turned out, we didn't travel in the coach during the summer of '23.  So the it has sat here for twenty months straight.  On our second season here, we not only lived here but we didn't work.  So, we met scores of people a gained a lot of new friends.  Retuning next September after a three and a half month exodus from here will be great.  This resort and our lot is so nice that we it doesn't fall into the same catagory as other campgrounds.  I'm sure that we're going to enjoy getting on the road again, but it will be nice to return here for another winter season in the valley.
