Seaside RV Resort, Seaside, Oregon

Augie Frankie at Seaside 400 pix  This was our third visit to Seaside RV Resort, and this is Augie's beach buddy, Frankie.  Like every visit to Seaside, whether it be in January, July, or now August, the weather has been less than desirable.  On our last visit here, we cut it short because it was just too wet and cold.  Not wanting to deal with that again, we booked our stay for August.  I'm in the coach working on the website because it's just not good warm outside.  This is Augie's first visit to the beach.  He turned one on this visit.  Every morning Augie and I venture out to run on the beach.  After about a week here he met Frankie (and his mom, Jean)  So far the two of them have gotten together three times.  Augie couldn't be having more fun.

The park is looking good and it seems to have enough staff to make it work well.  This is a nice change for a Thousand Trails park.  I'm impressed with how the rangers are out and about in the park making the park better for its guests and members.  I actually made use of the online check-in for the first time.  At this park, you have to check in on the south side and then turn around and exit and enter through the north gate if you're looking for a fifty amp site.  By using the online form.  I was given the gate code so at noon, I just drove to the north gate, used the code, and went and found a site.  Then I got back online and let the park know that I had arrived and what site I picked.  Once I got set up, Jackie and I walked to the south gate and picked up our paperwork.  It was really simple.  We love the location of the park and its amenities are fine, now if the weather would just work for us...
