Space Station RV Park

This is our first visit to Space Station RV Park and I hate to say it, probably our last.  There's nothing wrong with the park; the staff seemed nice, but it just wasn't a great camping experience.  First of all, you can't check in before 1 PM which isn't all that unusual, but it sounds like from the reviews, that there is no staff working before that time.  So we left Vegas around noon since it was only a two-hour drive.  The drive wasn't good getting out of Vegas with traffic, construction, and me making a wrong turn.  The temperature was over a hundred, we were exhausted when we landed at the park.  We squeezed into a site and got set up.  The park only offers 30 amps so we could only run one AC.  The rear of the coach was 100 and the front was over 90.  In the evening when it cooled we tried to sit outside with the dogs we found the site was covered with tiny ants.  We were afraid that the dogs would lay in them.  There is a small stream at the back of the park, but there is no access to it at all.  With a couple of hours of work, they could have done something to make the creek a positive for the park.  We ran down the street and bought dinner at a gas station at Subway.  (not bad)  This was the first campground that I didn't take a single photo of. We were happy to be on our way early the next morning.
